**All money paid is non-refundable**
Q: How old do I need to be to train?
A: All students must be at least 18 years of age to begin training; however, we do accept select students ages 16-17 years old with parental permission..
Q: Where is the school located?
A: The school is located 30 minutes south of Houston, TX.
9300 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, Suite 50
Texas City, TX 77591
Q: When is training?
A: Beginner and Intermediate training takes place Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Advanced training takes place Tuesdays and Thursdays. Business hours are 5 PM-10 PM Mondays through Fridays, with training starting at 7:30 PM. The fitness gym is available through business hours for all students every weekday.
Q: Do I need to be at every training session per week?
A: No, how often you come to training is up to you. However, the more you put in, the more you will get out. Students who attend training multiple times a week, every week, tend to realize success faster than those attending once a week or a few times monthly.
Q: Is training open to women?
A: Yes, training is available to both men and women. Expect classes to be integrated.
Q: Can I train if I have no experience in wrestling? What if I’ve trained somewhere else?
A: Yes we accept students who have no experience. However, given the strength and conditioning curriculum of training, we do expect that you are in reasonably good physical shape. If you are coming from another school, we will assess your proficiency on Day 1 to determine your training class.
Q: Is lodging available?
A: We do not offer any on-site lodging or rooms. However, there are many short and long term rental apartments as well as low-cost hotels/extended stay hotels within 10 miles of the arena. You are ultimately responsible for your own lodging and transportation to the training facility.
Q: Are international students welcome?
A: Yes, we have had students come train from over 30 different countries, and we welcome any nationality. However, we do not assist in travel costs, lodging, or any sort of VISA/immigration process.
Q: When does the next class start?
A: There is no set class start; it is a continuously rolling program. New students can come when they are ready and we will integrate them quickly into the program.
Q: I’d like to send information about me ahead of time; how can I do that?
A: Please fill out the form on our training page and feel free to attach any headshots, CVs, and videos.
Q: What else is required from me as a trainee?
A: All prospective students must fill out a waiver onsite before starting training. Students are also required to be available to help at Reality of Wrestling shows, which take place 2-3 times a month, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays.
Q: What do I need to bring to training?
A: In addition to a great attitude and a desire to improve, be sure to bring:
- Multiple (at least 2-3) t-shirts to change into
- Towel
- Personal hygiene items
- Water
While not needed on Day 1, we highly recommend investing in amateur wrestling shoes and knee pads.
Q: I’m not ready to make a decision and I’d like to visit the facility before committing, what can I do
A: If you are not yet a student, any and all visit requests must be made via email to info@realityofwrestling.com. Visits are not guaranteed and are at the discretion of Reality of Wrestling leadership.
